Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position on a night shift in Kennewick, WA. ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are required, with a WA or compact license and 2+ years of ED experience.

You will work in a teaching hospital ED, on a 25-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio, and use Paragon EHR. The role involves night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend, and travel-rate eligibility for those living >60 miles away.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license required.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA certifications) required.
• Minimum 2+ years of emergency medicine experience.
• Social Security number and date of birth required.
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department in a 111-bed teaching hospital with services including ED, Family Medicine, Ortho/Joint replacements, OBGYN, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics.
• 25-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio.
• Adult, geriatric, and pediatric patient population.
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• No call requirements.
• Uses Paragon EHR system.
• Provide emergency care to a diverse patient population across all age groups.
• Scrub color is flexible with any color accepted.
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment.
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel rate.
• Located in Kennewick, WA in the Tri-Cities area of southeastern Washington, offering recreational landscapes, wineries, and golf courses.
