Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night shift travel assignment in Arizona. This role requires a valid AZ license or compact license and current certifications (ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC). You must have at least 1 year of ED experience and no expiring credentials.

The position involves a 13-week contract, potential floating, and a 23-bed ED with MedHost EDIS. Housing support and travel reimbursement are provided.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or compact RN license required.
• Current certifications ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC are required.
• Minimum 1+ year of recent Emergency Department experience required.
• No certifications expiring within first 30 days of start.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting with 23 beds.
• Patient ratio of 4:1.
• Night shift, 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM.
• 13-week contract length.
• May be required to float as needed.
• Uses MedHost EDIS for charting.
• No 48-hour guarantee or block scheduling options.
• Black scrub color required.
• Labor Day is a required holiday coverage date.
• Maximum RTO of one weekend, with requests limited to less than one week.
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years.
