Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Emergency Department RN for a Level 4 trauma, critical access facility in Minnesota. Strong ER experience and pediatric skills are required to deliver ED care across a varied patient population.

The role features a night 3x12 shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with weekend coverage, comprehensive benefits, a housing allowance, and travel reimbursement. Epic (Excellian) charting is used; Navy scrub color is required.

Qualifications

• Active MN RN license required; pending license accepted
• Minimum 1 year ER experience; 2+ years preferred
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS
• Pediatric experience required
• IV start and triage skills required
• Conscious sedation and telemetry experience preferred
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• At least 1 supervisor reference required

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting within a critical access, Level 4 trauma facility with 19 staffed beds
• Night shift: 3x12 hours (1900-0730); Friday, Saturday, Sunday weekends
• Patient ratios: 1:3 days/nights, 1:4 weekends; ~25 visits/day across 11 rooms/beds
• Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic (Excellian) charting system
• Provide ED nursing care across a varied population including pediatrics
• Navy scrub color required
• Returning staff must have been separated from perm employment for at least 3 months
• RTO requests ideally not exceed 5 days
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travelers may not receive references post-assignment
• Parking is free in any unrestricted space
