Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Wilderness Emergency Department night shift position requiring Trauma Level IV and travel ER experience.

Responsibilities include caring for all patient populations across the lifespan, using Epic EMR, and working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with every other weekend; on-call is not required.

Qualifications

• Active MN RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ER travel experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Trauma Level IV experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Skills checklist current within 1 year pertinent to the specialty required for consideration
• 2 supervisory references with employment dates required for consideration

• Emergency Department (ECC) setting in a hospital
• Cares for all patient populations across the lifespan
• Uses Epic EMR
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• No on-call requirements
• Provides holistic nursing care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinates care among disciplines and delegates tasks to other care providers as appropriate
• Hospital-provided dark blue scrubs required
• Must disclose any prior work history with the health system on resume
• MN DHS Net Study & Fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and may not be honored after submittal
