American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Emergency Department RN with Mental Health Suite experience in Minnesota for a Level 4 trauma teaching hospital. MN RN licensure and at least 1 year of ER experience are required.

The role involves 4:1 patient ratios, day or night 12-hour shifts, weekend rotations, and no on-call duties. You may float to Mercy Hospital - Coon Rapids and affiliates; Epic Excellian is used for charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required
• Experience in adult/pediatric ED care
• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation required
• IV therapy and phlebotomy skills required

Responsabilités

• Work in the Emergency Department, Mental Health Suite
• Treat mixed adult and pediatric ED patients
• Maintain 4:1 patient ratios on days, nights, weekends
• Day (7:00–19:30) or night (19:00–7:30) shifts
• Weekend rotation every third weekend
• No on-call duties
• Floating to Mercy Hospital - Coon Rapids and affiliates as needed
• Use Epic/Excellian charting system
• Provide emergency care in Mental Health Suite in Level 4 trauma hospital
• Navy blue scrubs required
• 149 staffed beds facility

American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN with Mental Health Suite experience to join a Level 4 trauma teaching hospital, requiring MN RN licensure and at least 1 year of ER experience.

Requirements

• Active or pending MN RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
• Experience in general emergency department care for combined adult/pediatric populations required
• Cardiac monitoring experience including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• IV therapy and phlebotomy skills including starting and maintaining IVs required
• Must provide date of birth, SSN, copy of certifications, Nursys verification, and RTO at time of consideration
• At least one supervisor reference required for consideration
• Minnesota-specific fingerprinting (LiveScan) required as part of state background check process

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department, specifically the Mental Health Suite
• General emergency department setting serving combined adult and pediatric patients
• Patient ratios of 4:1 on days, nights, and weekends
• Day shift (3x12, 7:00-19:30) or night shift (3x12, 19:00-7:30) schedules available
• Weekend rotation required every third weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to Mercy Hospital - Coon Rapids and within the hospital or affiliate hospitals as needed
• Uses Epic (Excellian) charting system
• Provide emergency nursing care within a Mental Health Suite as part of a Level 4 trauma teaching hospital
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Acute care hospital with 149 staffed beds
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Returning staff must have a 3-month gap since their last shift worked as a perm employee (staff or per diem)
• RTO ideally should not exceed 5 days
• Facility does not accept local candidates; a 100-mile radius restriction applies
• Pre-start modules are required and average 8 hours to complete
• References are not provided by the facility to travelers post-assignment or to former perm employees
