American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced ER RN for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment in California. CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience are required, with Epic EMR familiarity.

This travel position offers comprehensive benefits, housing allowance, and weekly payroll. Shifts are 12 hours with 1:4 patient ratios, and local candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a 200-bed acute care hospital.
• Patient ratio of 1:4.
• Variable shift start times including 1500 or 1900 for 12-hour night shifts.
• Required to work every other weekend.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• No floating required between like units.
• Epic EMR used for charting.
• Provide emergency care to a variety of patient presentations.
• Scrub color requirement: Solid Royal Blue for RNs.
• Free parking available on-site.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration.
• Minimal to no RTO preferred for this role.

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
