Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position in California. CA RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are required; TNCC preferred and BSN preferred. At least 3 years of recent ER experience is expected, with recent practice within the last 3 months.

The role is a 13-week night contract, 36 hours per week, with shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM and rotating weekends. Local candidates are welcome; housing help and travel reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC certification preferred
• BSN preferred
• Prior acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years of recent ER specialty experience required, with experience within the last 3 months

Responsibilities

• Level IV trauma center Emergency Department setting
• 13-week night shift contract with rotating weekends
• Scheduled shifts run from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care priorities
• Develop and implement care plans, evaluate outcomes, and promote a safe healing environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to deliver humane, patient-centered care
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
• Accepts local candidates with no radius restriction
