Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department assignment in California. CA RN license and EPIC experience are required; night shift hours are 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with 36 or 48-hour weeks.

BSN preferred and at least 3 years of ER experience, with recent ER work within the last 3 months. This travel position offers high pay with bonuses, comprehensive benefits starting Day 1, a housing allowance, licensure reimbursement, and travel support.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of recent ER experience.
• Must have worked in the ER within the last 3 months.
• No prior adverse licensure actions.

Responsibilities

• Float Pool unit within the Emergency Department.
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, with 36 or 48-hour weeks.
• EPIC experience required.
• Deliver coordinated nursing care to an assigned patient population following established standards and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure safe, humane, and effective care.
• Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care.
• Holiday RTO requests will not be approved.
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined.
• Local candidates accepted with no radius rule, and local rates match travel rates.
• First-time travelers may be considered
