Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced registered nurse for an Emergency Department role in California. CA RN licensure and Epic EMR experience are essential, with a minimum of three years of recent ER work.

BSN preferred and strict no adverse licensure actions policy apply. The position features a day shift (07:00 AM–07:30 PM) with 36–48 hours weekly, offering high pay, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• CA RN license is required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI/TEAM/TEAM-A certifications required.
• Minimum three years ER experience in the last three months.
• BSN is preferred.
• No prior adverse licensure actions allowed.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital.
• Day shift schedule, 36-48 hours per week, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Deliver coordinated nursing care according to standards and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing care.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered.
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions.
• Traveler may only be submitted to one hospital within the health system at a time.
