Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of ER experience in last 3 months.
• BSN preferred.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.
• No prior disciplinary action on license.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Emergency Department within a hospital.
• Work day shift 07:00 AM–07:30 PM, 36–48 hours weekly.
• Deliver coordinated care following the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff.
• Collaborate with patients and healthcare team for safe, humane care.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
• Delegate duties among healthcare team members.
• Meet facility vaccination requirements; exemptions available.

• RTO of more than 5 days will be declined.

• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment


• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning


• Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members


• Required vaccinations per facility policy, with medical and religious exemptions available


• Local candidates accepted with no radius rule; local rates match travel rates
