Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN with prior ER travel experience for a 12-hour day shift assignment in Farmington, CT. You will work in a hospital ER, 36 hours per week, with alternating weekends and holiday call rotations.

Floating to Psych Hold may be required and overtime may be needed to cover unit demand. Required include CT or Compact RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC/CPI certifications, and at least 2 years ER nursing plus 1 year travel ER experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Connecticut or Compact) currently in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of prior travel nursing experience in the ER required, non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Room Unit of a hospital setting.
• 12-hour day shift from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, 36 hours per week.
• Work every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday).
• Participate in call and holiday rotation, working 2 of the 3 major holidays.
• May float to the Psych Hold area.
• Included in mandatory overtime rotation pool as needed for unit coverage.
• Provide emergency nursing care within a fast-paced ER environment.
• All time off requests must be submitted prior to consideration.
• Minimal or no RTO requested is preferred, as auto-offer applies with 3 days or less of RTO and no holiday RTO.
