Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position requiring 3+ years of ER experience, MA licensure, and TNCC certification.

The role features 12-hour shifts (3:00 PM–3:30 AM), 36 hours weekly, and a high-pay travel package with housing allowance and licensure reimbursements. Active MA RN license and TNCC/BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• 3+ years of current Emergency Room experience required (within past 6 months)
• Skills checklist specific to Emergency Room, current within 1 year, required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a teaching hospital
• 12-hour afternoon/night shifts, 3:00 PM-3:30 AM, 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Every other weekend required, holidays required if needed
• No on-call requirements
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience highly preferred
• Compact license not accepted; active MA RN license required
• Provide emergency care within a 298-bed teaching hospital recognized for patient safety excellence
• Block scheduling and shift/schedule accommodation requests will not be considered
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of profile submission; no more than 5 days of RTO accepted; requests after offer or during interview will not be approved
• Must work two full holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through the following weekend
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
