Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a compact RN license and prior ED experience. The role includes a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a 36-hour scheduled week and floating responsibilities.

Qualifications

• RN license must be NH or Compact and active.
• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital ED experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, CPI.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department.
• Work in hospital ED with multiple beds and patient ratios managed by staff.
• Support and mentor traveling nurses; participate in float coverage.
• Adhere to scrub attire and infection control policies.
• Utilize GE monitoring equipment and ExpansE EMR for documentation.
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; 36-hour week; floating as needed.
• Collaborate with unit secretaries and techs to ensure patient flow.
• Maintain high standards of care in a busy ED environment.

• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting with 18 head walls and 10 hallway beds
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Variable staffing model with unit secretaries and techs
• GE monitoring equipment used
• Expanse EMR used for documentation
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36-hour scheduled work week
• Floating required
• Provide direct patient care within a high-acuity Emergency Department
