Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Emergency Room RN for a 13-week assignment in Connecticut. A CT/Compact RN license and at least 1 year of ER travel experience are required.

Responsibilities include 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, rotating weekends and holidays, with potential float to Psych Hold and mandatory overtime as needed. Local candidates within 75 miles may be eligible for local or radius rate.

• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Minimum of 1 year of ER travel experience (ER)

• Work in the Emergency Room Unit of a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts 11:00 AM–11:30 PM
• Every other weekend (Fri/Sat)
• Call and holiday rotation, including 2 of 3 major holidays
• May float to Psych Hold area as needed
• Overtime as part of unit rotation pool for coverage
• Provide emergency nursing care in ER
• No RTO during holidays; limited RTO may trigger offer

American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Room RN for a 13-week assignment requiring a CT/Compact RN license and at least 1 year of prior ER travel experience.

Requirements

• Active RN license (CT or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of prior travel experience specifically in the ER required (non-negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Room Unit of a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• Scheduled to work every other weekend (Friday/Saturday)
• Participates in call and holiday rotation, including 2 of the 3 major holidays
• May float to the Psych Hold area as needed
• Subject to mandatory overtime as part of unit rotation pool when required for coverage
• Provide emergency nursing care within a hospital ER setting
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application
• No RTO permitted during holidays, and limited RTO (3 days or less) may trigger automatic offer
• Local candidates are welcome to apply
• Eligible for either the local rate (within 75 miles) or radius rate
