Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Kansas. The role requires active KS or Compact RN licensure and current certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC).

The 13-week contract features 12-hour night shifts with weekend and holiday coverage. Floating may be required occasionally, and there is no on-call work. Orientation starts with HR prior to on-floor training, with travel support and benefits included.

• 5+ years of ER experience and large facility experience preferred
• No first-time travelers accepted
• New graduates not accepted

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting in a hospital environment
• 13-week contract with 12-hour night shifts
• No block booking permitted
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Floating required on a rare, as-needed basis
• No on-call responsibilities
• Orientation begins with HR before transitioning to on-floor training
• Clock in at the facility and submit time via the mobile app
