Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Room role. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of travel ER experience and current certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI). This position requires an active CT or Compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years RN experience.

The job features a 12-hour day shift (11:00 AM–11:30 PM), 36 hours per week over 13 weeks, and alternating weekend coverage. Housing and travel reimbursements are included in the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active RN license CT or Compact is required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and CPI.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience.
• Minimum 1 year of travel ER experience is non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Room unit in a hospital setting.
• 12-hour day shift, 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM.
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment.
• Works every other weekend (Sat/Sun).
• Participates in call and holiday rotation, covering 2 of 3 major holidays.
• May float to the Psych Hold area.
• Provide emergency nursing care within rotating staffing pool; additional hours as needed.
