American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a high-volume Emergency Department assignment in New Jersey.

This 13-week night shift role requires a current NJ or Compact RN license and ED certifications, with duties spanning trauma, stroke, and pelvic trauma care across multiple hospitals in the network. Candidates must have 2+ years in ED, pass a dysrhythmia exam on a PC, and complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing.

Qualifications

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED nursing experience within the last 12 months
• High-volume ED experience required
• Trauma and Stroke CEUs required
• Must pass a Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing, completed on a PC (not iOS), with 2 attempts
• Active BLS certification that does not expire within 30 days of start date
• Nursys license verification dated within 2 weeks reflecting active NJ or Compact license
• Pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing
• Must be clean shaven for fit testing

Responsabilités

• Work in a high-volume Emergency Department setting
• 13-week assignment on night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday
• No call requirements
• Floating within 7 hospitals in the system based on skillset
• Epic EMR experience required
• Block scheduling not permitted
• Care for a general adult/pediatric ED population including trauma, cardiac, neurological, psychiatric, and orthopedic cases
• STEMI and Stroke Certified facility handling shock/trauma and gunshot wounds
• RTO must be submitted at consideration; no RTO in first week
• First-time travelers accepted but not preferred
• Residents within 50 miles subject to local pay rate
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with no exemptions
• Orientation includes specialty modules tracked via transcripts

• High-volume ED experience required
• Trauma and Stroke CEUs required
• Must pass a Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing, completed on a PC (not compatible with iOS devices), with only 2 attempts allowed
• Active BLS certification that does not expire within 30 days of assignment start date
• Nursys license verification dated within 2 weeks of submission reflecting active NJ or Compact license
• Pre-employment labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• Must be clean shaven for fit testing prior to working on the unit

• Facility is a STEMI and Stroke Certified facility handling shock/trauma cases including gunshot wounds and traumatic amputations
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; requests after submission will not be accepted, and no RTO is allowed within the first week of the assignment
• First-time travelers accepted but not preferred
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to the local pay rate
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with no exemptions
• Orientation includes specialty-specific modules tracked via transcripts
