American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced registered nurse for a Cath Lab position in Wisconsin. The role requires hemodynamic monitoring and interventional skills with on-call availability, and involves day shifts with 4x10-hour hours.

Candidates must hold an active WI RN license, BLS/ACLS, NIHSS, and have at least 1 year Cath Lab experience. Epic charting experience is preferred, with travel and latex-allergy considerations noted.

Qualifications

Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (NIHSS may be pending at submission but must be completed during compliance).
Minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience.
EPIC charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work in the Cath Lab department of an acute care hospital.
Float to Recovery unit as needed.
Day shift: 4x10-hour shifts 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.
On-call requirement and every 3rd weekend.
40 hours per week.
Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
Monitor hemodynamic status and procedural sedation.
Experience with vascular closure systems, sheath removal, and topical hemostasis agents.
EP procedures, TEE, valvuloplasty, VAD insertion, and Watchman procedures a plus.
GI and GU procedures a plus.
First-time travelers welcome.
Local candidates accepted.
Travelers may return after a minimum 1-year separation.
Travel pairs accepted.
Latex allergy not accommodated.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring hemodynamic monitoring and interventional procedure skills with on-call availability.

Requirements

Active WI or compact RN license (pending accepted at submission, must be obtained during compliance)
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (NIHSS may be pending at submission but must be completed during compliance)
Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
Epic charting experience preferred
Proficiency with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, including left/right heart catheterization and PCI
Experience with IABP placement/removal and Impella insertion
Experience with pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction and cardiac stent placement
Experience monitoring pulmonary artery lines/Swan Ganz catheters
Experience with Rotablator atherectomy and cardiac implant closure devices

Responsibilities

Work in the Cath Lab department of an acute care hospital
Floating to the Recovery unit as needed
Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Every 3rd weekend required
On-call requirement
40 hours per week
