American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN for a 13-week contract requiring a PA license or compact RN license. The role demands 3+ years in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath labs along with Epic charting proficiency.

Responsibilities include performing PCI, TAVR, and related catheterization procedures, with day shift hours and on-call duties. Local candidates within 50 miles may be offered a different rate.

Qualifications

• Active PA RN license or compact RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab experience.
• Epic charting system experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Work on day shift 7:30a–4:00p with potential shift change to 9:30a–6:00p.
• On-call 1 night per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Fri 1800 to Mon 0730).
• 13-week assignment length; block scheduling not available.
• Use Epic charting system; perform circulating and scrub duties for PCI, TAVR, Impella, and right/left heart catheterizations.
• Manage sedation, hemodynamics, and vascular access site care.
• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing; RTO rules apply.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN with 3+ years of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab experience for a 13-week contract requiring a PA license or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of experience required, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• PA fingerprints and Childline clearance required, with results from within 12 months of start
• Valid state license or certification required at time of consideration
• Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration
• Pass/fail clinical exam required with a maximum of 3 attempts

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cath Lab unit performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Day shift schedule (5x8 hours), 7:30a-4:00p with potential to move to 9:30a-6:00p
• 30 minute unpaid lunch
• On-call required 1 night per week and every 4th or 5th weekend (Friday 1800 to Monday 0730)
• 13-week assignment length
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Uses Epic charting system
• Perform circulating and scrub duties for cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI, TAVR, Impella insertion, and right/left heart catheterizations
• Manage procedural sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and sheath removal
• Experience with vascular closure devices and topical hemostasis preferred
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Scrubs are provided
• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; RTO requested after submission will not be accepted
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted within a 50 mile radius at a different rate
