Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking an RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring 2 years of invasive cardiology experience and a PA or compact RN license.

The role includes working in a 3-lab invasive cardiology department with 12-bed prep/recovery, performing cath/EP/peripheral cases, and a 4x10 hour day shift with every third weekend and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (PA state license or compact)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab/EP experience
• EPIC charting experience required
• Experience with circulating procedures, infection prevention, PPE, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Experience with cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, IABP, Impella, PCI, Swan-Ganz, rotablator

Responsibilities

• Work in a 3-lab invasive cardiology department with a 12-bed prep and recovery area
• Perform cath, EP, and peripheral vascular cases alongside physicians and technologists
• Support diagnostics through complex interventions with surgical backup (including STEMI and ECMO)
• Conduct EP procedures including cardioversions, implants, and ablations
• Keep a 4x10-hour day shift schedule (7:00 AM–5:30 PM), Monday–Friday with every third weekend
• On-call as needed by the unit
• No floating required
• Care for COVID-positive patients may occur
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
• Local candidates within 50 miles preferred
• First-time travelers not preferred

• Active RN license (PA state license or compact) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab/EP experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Experience with circulating procedures, infection prevention, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, isolation precautions/PPE, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Experience with cath lab procedures such as diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, PCI, right/left heart catheterization, Swan Ganz monitoring, and rotablator atherectomy

Responsibilities

• Work in a 3-lab invasive cardiology department with a 12-bed prep and recovery area
• Perform cath, EP, and peripheral vascular cases alongside cardiologists, electrophysiologists, RNs, and technologists
• Facility has surgical backup supporting diagnostics through complex interventions, including advanced STEMI and cardiac arrest treatment with Impella and ECMO
• EP procedures include cardioversions, implants, and ablations for rhythm disorders
• Day shift schedule of 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, Monday-Friday with a variable weekday off
• Every third weekend required
• On-call required as needed by the unit
• No floating required
• May involve care for COVID-positive patients
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
• Must reside within 50 miles for local candidate consideration
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this role
