Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN with 2+ years in the lab and prior traveler experience to support STEMI-designated procedures and weekend call rotations in Missouri.

Requirements include MO or compact RN license, ACLS/BLS, Epic charting, and 2+ years of Cath Lab work. Travel nursing experience and ability to rotate weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MO or compact) currently in hand.
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS.
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Epic charting system experience required.
• Experience with Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, stent placement, and PCI.
• Experience circulating procedures and monitoring procedural sedation.
• Ventilator management skills.
• Experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab settings.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a Short Term Acute Care Hospital.
• Day shift schedule (4x10 hours, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM).
• Participate in weekend call rotation.
• On-call requirement of 12-15 shifts depending on staffing needs.
• May float to other departments (Pre-op, PACU, PACU, IVR, OR) to assist with tasks during low volume periods.
• STEMI Designated Hospital supporting cardiac cath, PCI, vascular procedures, and pacemaker/ICD implants
• Provides complete pre/post care for outpatients
• Supports cardiac catheterization, PCI, vascular procedures, and pacemaker/ICD implant cases
• Collaborates with the cath lab team to provide pre and post procedural care
• Scrubs are provided
• Free parking available
• Holiday and weekend rotation participation may be required
• RTO requests should be submitted as early as possible
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Local candidates within 70 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Clinicians are limited to 1 year of continuous travel assignment before a 6-month break is required before returning
