Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU travel position in Massachusetts. MA license in hand, CT/CVICU experience and Level 1 trauma center background are required.

12-hour shifts, travel assignments, and Epic EMR are part of the role. The candidate must have current BLS/ACLS, 2–3 years RN experience with 2 years CVICU, and prior travel nursing. Local candidates outside a 50-mile radius are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required.
• Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience with at least 2 years in CT/CVICU required.
• Level 1 trauma center experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU), a specialized high-acuity unit.
• Provides 24-hour monitoring and advanced care for patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular surgeries or severe cardiac/respiratory conditions.
• 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights), 36 hours per week.
• No floating or charge responsibilities required.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Provide advanced critical care to patients recovering from cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries or severe cardiac/respiratory conditions.
• Weekly orientation provided.
• Any color scrubs permitted.
• Must complete Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing (for Milton and Plymouth campuses).
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, medical exemptions allowed.
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius.
• Previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a 6+ month break before returning.
