Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Trauma/Surgical ICU in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate has Level 1 trauma experience, holds a MA license, and is proficient with Epic EMR.

The TSICU consists of 8 beds with 12-hour day/night shifts, including every other weekend. This travel opportunity offers high pay, housing support, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required.
• CPR certification through AHA and ACLS required.
• 2-3 years of related work experience required.
• SICU and Trauma/Level 1 Trauma experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in an 8-bed TSICU.
• Care for surgical patients including transplant, hepatobiliary, and general surgery cases.
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3.
• 12-hour rotating shifts, day/night, 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Provide critical care nursing to surgical ICU patients in a Level 1 trauma setting.
• Weekly orientation held every Monday, barring holidays.
• Required vaccinations include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed.
• Pass/Fail Tele/ECG and Medication testing may be required depending on campus.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted.
• Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning to any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility.
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration.
