Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position in Massachusetts. The role requires an active MA RN license, 2+ years MICU experience, and level 1 trauma center exposure. The MICU team operates with 12-hour shifts and weekend requirements.

Responsibilities include working in MICU, adhering to orientation schedules, and ensuring attendance for interviews and offers. Housing and travel reimbursements are provided, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license in hand at time of consideration.
• Current CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications.
• Minimum 2+ years of MICU experience.
• Level 1 trauma center experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
• 12-hour rotating shift schedule, 36 hours per week.
• Required to work every third weekend.
• No floating or charge responsibilities required.
• Weekly orientation held every Monday, barring holidays.
• Nurse manager will conduct interviews and extend offers.
• Candidates must provide interview availability and RTO requests at time of consideration.
• Local candidates not accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees must have a one-year separation before being considered.
• Required vaccinations include COVID (plus booster) and flu, with medical exemptions allowed.
• Parking near the facility may cost up to $43 per day.
