Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Project Cost Manager to develop and manage the project financial strategy, budgets, changes, billings, and forecasts. You will produce reports for varied stakeholders and help identify variances and risks, ensuring alignment with management's strategy.

You will work with a cross-functional team across disciplines and travel as required. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5–10 years in project cost is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 5-10 years of Project Cost experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of project development stages, procurement, project controls, and construction execution practices.
• Working knowledge of PMWeb or similar project portfolio management software, DataServ, Excel, JD Edwards, or related software programs.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Results oriented and deliver on customer commitments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project disciplines to understand total project cost budgets and targets.
• Review documents to identify, develop, and track change orders, baseline estimates, and risk exposures.
• Coordinate with accounting to ensure accurate billings, payments, and cost reporting.
• Engage with project management, executives, subcontractors, and clients as needed.
• Lead cost engineering, cost estimation, and control activities for complex projects.
