Qualifications

• Four+ years retail management experience with progressively more responsibility, managing multi-unit operations with full P&L responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; big-box retail management and/or equivalent education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams by modeling Dollar General's mission and values.
• Ensure fair administration of HR policies and practices.
• Drive superior customer service through friendly stores and effective operations.
• Achieve area sales growth targets through efficient flow processes and quality orders.
• Develop and communicate strategic priorities to teams and optimize store scheduling and resources.
• Identify opportunities for growth, merchandising, training, and recruitment within the area.
• Protect company assets through loss prevention and expense controls.
• Travel weekly in a company vehicle as required.
