Job summary

Dollar General seeks a store-area leader to plan and guide operations across multiple stores, with full P&L responsibility. You will drive sales growth, ensure excellent customer service, and optimize merchandising, inventory, and staffing in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires weekly travel in a company-provided vehicle, valid driver's license, and a focus on leadership, budgeting, and cross-store collaboration to meet regional goals.

Qualifications

• Four+ years retail management experience with progressively more responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Big-box retail management and/or equivalent education and experience combination will be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results and manage multi-unit operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams by fostering a culture aligned with Dollar General's mission and values.
• Ensure fair administration of human resources policies and practices.
• Achieve area sales growth to meet or exceed targets through quality orders and efficient flow processes.
• Utilize all tools for superior inventory presentation and management across stores and markets.
• Plan and execute company objectives with effective scheduling and resource allocation.
• Identify and develop opportunities within the operational area (e.g., distribution flow, merchandising, store growth, real estate).
• Communicate divisional and regional priorities to store teams clearly and consistently.
