Job summary

Dollar General seeks an Area Manager to plan and lead multiple stores within an assigned operation area, with full P&L responsibility and adherence to company objectives. You will drive sales growth, optimize inventory, and supervise staffing and asset protection.

Responsibilities include recruiting and developing employees, ensuring excellent customer service, and coordinating with regional teams. Weekly travel in a company vehicle is required, with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated record of achieving performance goals and objectives.
• Financial analysis skills sufficient to interpret operating statements and other financial reporting data, manage budgets, and control inventory.
