Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an Area Store Leader to plan and lead store operations across multiple locations with full profit and loss responsibility. Qualifications

• Four+ years retail management experience with full P&L responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Big-box retail management and/or equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams to achieve area sales growth and meet company targets.
• Foster a culture aligned with Dollar General's mission and values.
• Ensure superior customer service through friendly stores and effective processes.
• Oversee inventory presentation and efficient flow processes across stores.
• Recruit, train, and develop employees; manage scheduling and HR practices.
• Identify new business opportunities within the operational area including loss prevention and cost control.
• Communicate divisional and regional priorities clearly to store teams.
