Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Technician for the West Region (OR/NV/AZ) to help maintain 24/7 data center operations and support critical infrastructure. You will install equipment, perform hardware break‑fix, troubleshoot networks, and collaborate with engineers, software teams, and vendors to keep services running smoothly.

Travel within the region is required, and some training may involve relocation to an established site.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix; troubleshoot network issues; respond to incidents.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders including engineers, vendors, and contractors.
• Participate in on-call duties and maintenance/change management activities.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvements based on issue analysis.
• Help train and onboard new team members.
