Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to install, diagnose, and repair data center hardware, manage network issues, and keep 24/7 operations running smoothly.

You will travel between regional sites, support on-call rotations, document incidents, and train teammates, contributing to a safe and reliable cloud infrastructure.

This role requires lifting, shift work, and willingness to work at multiple facilities across the region to ensure continuous service availability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Performing server rack installations, hardware break-fix on components, troubleshooting network issues, and responding to incidents.
• Serve as primary contact point for internal/external stakeholders (engineers, vendors, contractors).
• On-call duties and participation in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
• Contributing to documentation and process improvements based on issue analysis.
• Training and onboarding new team members.
