The role requires ARRT (T) certification, a radiation therapy degree, and experience with ARIA/Varis for charting and treatment planning. BLS is preferred; 50-mile local radius candidate restriction applies, with first-time traveler consideration.

Qualifications

• ARRT (T) certification is required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Degree or certificate in Radiation Therapy or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiation therapy is required.
• Previous experience with Varian linear accelerators and ARIA/Varis is required.
• Experience with RPM and AlignRT preferred.
• Skills in CT simulation, custom molds, custom shields, tumor localization, and field shaping preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department in adult acute care and outpatient settings.
• Treat a patient population including brain tumors, prostate, pancreas, pediatric, kidney, and other cancers.
• Deliver External Beam Therapy, IMRT, SRS, respiratory gating, and prophylactic treatments.
• Utilize Varian TrueBeam, GE CT simulator, BrainLab ExacTrac, and Vision RT equipment.
• Use ARIA/Varis for record and verify and treatment planning.
• Document and bill for treatment types and devices; charting in Epic.
• Day shift 5x8 hours, 7:30am-5:00pm; no weekend requirements; may float to another local hospital.

• Treatment modalities include External Beam Therapy, IMRT, SRS, respiratory gating, and prophylactic treatments
• Utilizes Varian TrueBeam, GE CT simulator, BrainLab ExacTrac, and Vision RT equipment
• Uses ARIA/Varis for record and verify and treatment planning
• Epic experience required for charting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:30am-5:00pm
• No weekend requirements
• May float to an additional local hospital location
• Responsible for delivering radiation therapy treatments and performing pretreatment simulation and planning
• Adheres to radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions/PPE
• Documents and bills for treatment types and devices
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• RTO must be submitted prior to consideration, with no changes accepted afterward
