The role handles 60–100 patient treatments daily across three TrueBeam machines, with EPIC/Aria for EMR and a Monday–Friday day shift. You will work in a diverse, collegial department with strong leadership support, potential site rotations, and a weekend on‑call schedule.

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT-T certification and 2+ years of TrueBeam experience for an outpatient cancer clinic treating 60-100 patients daily.

Requirements

• Active ARRT-T license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Extensive, proficient experience with Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators required
• Experience with various cancer diagnoses required, or manager approval needed otherwise
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge title

Responsibilities

• Outpatient ambulatory cancer clinic setting
• Treats 60-100 patients per day across 3 daily machines
• Approximately 12 therapists working per shift
• Uses Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators
• Uses EPIC/Aria for electronic medical records
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• Weekend rotations possible but unlikely
• Weekend on-call rotated among the team based on staffing needs
• Potential floating to other Radiation Therapy sites in the greater Charlotte area
• Deliver radiation therapy treatments to outpatient oncology patients
• Strong leadership support within the department
• Department culture described as diverse and collegial
• Orientation includes facility-wide NEO plus 2 days of departmental orientation
• Department closed on holidays
• RTO subject to manager approval
• Black scrub color required
• Free parking available
• Open to first-time travelers with required experience
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
