Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT (T) certification and 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care oncology assignment on day shift. The role involves delivering advanced external beam therapy in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include treatment planning delivery on Varian TrueBeam and Clinac IX, using ARIA/Eclipse and Cerner EMR, with 8-hour day shifts and a fixed schedule. Travel housing and licensure support are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
• ARRT (T) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience; 2–3+ years preferred.
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and Clinac IX Accelerators required.
• Experience with ARIA record and verify system required.
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration.
• Two professional references: one supervisor in last 12 months and one from last 3 years with dates and eligibility for rehire.

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting within the Radiation Therapy Service Line - Oncology.
• Performs External Beam Radiation Therapy including 3D, IMRT, SBRT, SRS, and IGRT.
• Uses Varian TrueBeam, Varian Clinac IX, Accuray Cyberknife, and Elekta Flexitron equipment.
• Uses ARIA/Eclipse record and verify system.
• Uses Cerner EMR.
• 8-hour day shifts with various start times.
• No self-scheduling; no weekends, holidays, or call.
• Deliver advanced external beam radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients.
• Unit manager will conduct interviews for this position.
• Teal scrubs required for dress code.
• Facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter assignments, with potential for full shift pay in lieu of cancellation.
