Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT (T) certification and 2+ years of experience for a Level 1 trauma hospital's Radiation Oncology department in Morgantown, WV. Day shifts with a 13-week assignment are offered, with no weekend or on-call duties.

The role uses Varian TrueBeam/Trilogy, Siemens CT, and EPIC/ARIA systems. Open to travelers; travel reversions and housing allowances are provided as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered Radiation Therapist certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Experience with IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT techniques required
• Experience with Varian equipment required
• EPIC charting experience required
• WV state license required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting within a Level 1 trauma hospital's Radiation Oncology department
• Treats a mix of adult and pediatric patients, with minimal pediatric caseload
• Average patient load of 25 patients per machine (50 total) plus 6-9 CT sim patients daily
• Utilizes Varian TrueBeam and Varian Trilogy linear accelerators, and Siemens Somatom Go.Flo open CT simulator
• Uses Varian ARIA Oncology Information System and EPIC for charting
• 13-week assignment with day shifts, scheduled as 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour shifts
• No weekend, holiday, or call/standby requirements
• No floating to other units required
• Radiation Oncologists on-site, with Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech support
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Gray scrubs required
• Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
• Previous permanent staff must have a 2-year break before returning as travelers
• Previous travelers who completed a full year must take a 2-year break before returning
• Open to first-time travelers with appropriate experience
