American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Post-Acute care setting with 2+ years of PTA experience and BLS certification. A state or compact license is required for the submission state; driver’s license copy and two professional references are required.

The role covers a CAH with about 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient care. Schedule is Tue–Sat, 7:30–16:30, with weekend inpatient coverage and Cerner EMR usage. Travel travelers may be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PTA experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Active state or compact license required for the state of submission; pending licenses not accepted.
• Copy of driver''s license required for consideration.
• Two professional references: one supervisor (within 12 months) and one peer/supervisor (within 3 years).

Responsibilities

• Post-Acute care setting in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH).
• Approximately 90% outpatient care and 10% inpatient care.
• Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 07:30–16:30 incl. 1 hour lunch.
• Saturday inpatient coverage ~2.5 hours.
• Uses Cerner EMR for charting and documentation.
• First to float among staff.
• 40 hours per week with an every-other-weekend rotation.
• Provide physical therapy services across outpatient and inpatient settings.
• 12 hours of orientation provided.
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position.
