American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient/inpatient acute care position. Requires 2+ years of PT experience and BLS certification. State license or compact license is accepted. Prior travel experience is required.

The role features a 5x8 day schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) in a Level IV trauma facility with diverse case mix and opportunities for travel pairing. Cerner charting and PCC documentation are used.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience.
• BLS certification required.
• State license required if applicable; compact license accepted.
• Prior travel experience required.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting with both inpatient and outpatient PT services.
• 5x8 day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Patient ratio of 1:6.
• No weekend or on-call requirements, with potential for a Monday–Friday schedule.
• Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Uses Cerner for hospital charting and PCC for long-term care documentation.
• Treats orthopedic, neurologic, cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, and wound care patients.
• Utilizes modalities such as e-stim, ultrasound, traction, and hydrotherapy.
• Level IV trauma facility with 25 staffed beds and an attached 71-bed skilled extended care facility.
• Travel pairs accepted.

• Experience with acute care, LTAC, outpatient clinic, rehab hospital, and SNF settings preferred
• Skilled in adaptive and assistive device use, gait training, and home exercise programs

Responsibilities

• No weekend or on-call requirements, with potential for an M-F schedule
• Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs

• Treats orthopedic conditions, neurologic conditions, cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, and wound care
• Utilizes modalities including e-stim, ultrasound, traction, and hydrotherapy
• Level IV trauma facility with 25 staffed beds and an attached 71-bed skilled extended care facility
• First-time travelers not accepted
• No RTO permitted within the first two weeks due to orientation, with RTO limited to one week thereafter
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction
