Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient orthopedic clinic, open to new graduates with 1+ year of experience preferred.

This role supports a busy rehab team and serves a diverse patient population. Generative AI scribe technology is used alongside NextGen charting, with a 5x8 schedule and daytime hours; travel to other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• License required if applicable
• 1+ year of experience preferred, though new graduates are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting with strong Rehab Aide and Patient Experience Coordinator support
• Patient population includes older adults, post-operative patients, general orthopedic patients, adolescents, and sports medicine patients
• Caseload includes conditions such as ACL tears, rotator cuff repairs, disc herniation, osteoarthritis, plantar fasciitis, and total joint replacement
• Patient load of 12+ visits per day with 90% productivity expectation and 55+ visits per week
• Appointments scheduled every 30 minutes with an average treatment time of 60 minutes
• Uses NextGen for documentation and charting
• 5x8 schedule with AM shift, 8-hour days
• Clinic hours Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Floating to other locations may be required
• Supported by a care team including 2 PTs, 1 Rehab Aide, and 1 Patient Experience Coordinator
• Clinicians supported by generative AI documentation scribe technology for real-time compliant clinical documentation
• Business casual dress code
• Temp-to-perm opportunity open to discussion
