American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a combined inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation role. You will assess, plan, and implement therapy across service lines and collaborate with the care team.

Responsibilities include treating 8-10 patients daily, using Cerner EMR, and participating in orientations. The role emphasizes patient education, home program development, and strong documentation with interdisciplinary communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience.
• BLS certification required.
• State PT license required if applicable.
• Proficient in comprehensive PT evaluations including PMH, meds, labs, imaging, pain, ROM, balance, coordination, endurance, and mobility assessment.
• Skilled in transfers, gait training/assessment, and treatment plan development.
• Experience developing home exercise programs.
• Strong documentation and interdisciplinary communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provides physical therapy services across inpatient and outpatient Rehabilitation Service areas
• Caseload of 8-10 patients per day
• Treats mostly adults with occasional pediatric patients in the outpatient setting
• Common diagnoses include CVA/stroke, TBI, fractures, joint replacement, amputation, falls, weakness, balance impairment, neurological disorders, pulmonary or cardiac dysfunction, post-surgical rehab, orthopedic injuries, and arthritis
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM with no weekend rotation or on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Works closely with the therapy team, nursing staff, and department manager
• 2-day facility and unit orientation using the SOAR program
• No holiday coverage required, though working the day after a holiday is expected
• Scrub attire in any solid color is acceptable
• Free parking available
• Does not accept first-time travelers
• RTO requests must be approved by the manager

• No floating required
• Works closely with the therapy team, nursing staff, and department manager
