Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead team members on shift, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety requirements.

This role also involves training new team members, managing cash handling per policy, and performing various kitchen-related tasks while maintaining knowledge of plaza offerings and assisting leadership as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and customer service is required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling and maintain safety standards.
• Assist in training new team members and cross-train for kitchen tasks.
• Maintain product knowledge and consistent brand standards.
• Support plaza leadership by communicating observations and concerns.
