Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift team members, ensure excellent customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety policies. You will help train new hires, supervise cash handling, and ensure daily operations run smoothly.

Qualified candidates have cash handling and customer service experience, leadership experience, and the ability to engage with travelers in a friendly, outgoing manner.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policy.
• Operate POS system and process payments following cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling including labeling, stocking, dating and temperature checks.
• Assist in training of new team members.
• Follow brand standards and all safety procedures.
• Execute a variety of other tasks as assigned.
