Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure exceptional customer service, and enforce brand standards and food safety requirements. You will train new team members and monitor compliance with cash handling policies.

You will also operate the POS, handle payments, cross-sell products, and maintain knowledge of plaza offerings while supporting a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and customer service is required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Inform leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
