Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift team members and ensure top-tier customer service at one of their travel plazas. The role includes operating the POS, handling cash, supervising daily tasks, and maintaining food safety standards across preparation and service areas.

The successful candidate will have strong cash handling and customer service experience, with preferred leadership background. Flexible schedules and opportunities to train new staff are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, wrapping, labeling and temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prep, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Adhere to brand standards and safety policies.
• Inform leadership of observations or issues.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
