Applegreen is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts at our travel plazas, ensuring exceptional customer service and strict adherence to brand standards and food safety requirements. You will train new team members and monitor cash handling procedures while maintaining a clean, efficient work environment.

This role requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on delivering quick, friendly service and maintaining high operational standards across the plaza.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and all company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
