Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensuring outstanding customer service and strict adherence to brand and food safety standards. The role involves training new hires, monitoring cash handling, and daily opening/closing procedures.

You will operate the POS system, manage cash, and uphold product quality while assisting in kitchen tasks and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Flexibility for schedules is required.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments per policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prep, thawing, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Train new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements and company policies.
