Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure top-tier customer service, and enforce brand standards and food safety. You will train new team members and monitor cash handling policies.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, handling payments, ensuring food safety, and supporting daily operations on site. A friendly, outgoing demeanor and prior leadership are valued.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with travelers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policy.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and all company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
