American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting in Missouri. Requires 2+ years of PT experience with IRF or SNF background, plus treatment of neuro, ortho, debility and cardiac diagnoses.

Role includes a 7:1 patient ratio, use of EKSO and InMotion UE robotic devices, and EHR using UDS/Epic. Day shift 7:00am–4:30pm; weekend rotations about once monthly; no call or floating required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required.
• IRF or SNF experience required.
• Experience treating neuro, orthopedics, debility, and cardiac conditions.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and work ethic required.
• License required if applicable; AHA certifications required.
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital with 60 beds and diverse patient cases.
• Treats strokes, brain/spinal injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries.
• Patient population includes geriatric, adult, and pediatric (min 13).
• Maintains 7:1 patient ratio and uses high-tech therapy devices.
• Documents in UDS and Epic EHR systems.
• Day shift 7:00am–4:30pm; weekend coverage about once a month; no call or floating.
• Facility accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF for rehab.

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital with 60 beds, treating patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries
• Patient population includes geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (no younger than 13)
• Patient ratio of 7 to 1
• Utilizes specialized equipment including EKSO, InMotion UE Robotic, and body weight support systems
• EHR systems used include UDS and Epic
• Day shift schedule from 7:00am to 4:30pm
• Weekend coverage required approximately once a month
• No call or floating requirements
• Facility is accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF for inpatient rehabilitation
• Nationally ranked in the top 6% of rehab hospitals for 2017
• Dedicated brain-injury unit with monitored rooms, specialized beds, patient lifts, and dedicated therapy space
