American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a day-shift role focused on orthopedic rehabilitation in California.

You will work in outpatient clinics with potential cross-coverage in acute care and inpatient rehab, seeing roughly 8-11 patients per day, with 30- or 45-minute sessions and a schedule of Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. May float between sister facilities near the contracted location.

Qualificações

• Must hold current PT license or be license eligible.
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; acute care or inpatient rehab experience considered.
• BLS certification required.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Compact license must be in hand at submission.
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required for consideration.

Responsabilidades

• Outpatient clinic setting with a primary focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Additional exposure to geriatric and neurological patient populations.
• Potential for a blended role across outpatient, acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Schedule includes 10-12 patients per day scheduled, typically 8-11 seen, with 1-3 evaluations and remaining follow-ups.
• Appointments are 30 or 45 minutes in duration.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process; post-offer time off requests may not be accommodated.
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Local candidates accepted at the standard bill rate.
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position.
