Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist for an outpatient rehabilitation setting in Illinois. The role requires a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and a minimum of one year of experience.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating and adjusting treatment plans, and collaborating with the treatment team. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 40 hours per week, with an orientation period and EPIC EMR usage.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy required for those licensed after 2016; bachelor's/master's degree accepted if licensed prior to 2016.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Valid state license in Physical Therapy or Authorization to Test with scheduled exam within 60 days of eligibility.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Analytical ability to evaluate patients, establish treatment goals, and document care.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft software.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient physical rehabilitation setting.
• Evaluate patients' physical and functional status and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with treatment teams.
• Work closely with therapy technicians and assistants to resolve patient care issues.
• 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday with possible weekend/holiday rotation.
• Uses EPIC EMR for documentation.
