Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking a contract Phlebotomist (6130) to float among Bloomington IN and surrounding areas. Schedule is 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with a projected duration of 3 months and potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen labeling, centrifugation, data maintenance, and patient communication. Mileage expenses are paid. Requires a valid phlebotomy certification and 2+ years in pediatric settings may be considered.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification required (state).
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge and decontaminate specimens; record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling.
